Mary Clucas Wildlife Artist Rocky Mountain Wildlife Images Collection (Click on images to enlarge) Mary Clucas, and her husband Jack, are Wyoming natives and lifelong residents of the Cowboy State. During their years of experience as ranchers, cattlemen, hunters and outfitters, Mary developed an extensive knowledge of Wyoming wildlife, as reflected in her Wildlife Images Collection. The Wildlife Images Collection consists of original images of native Wyoming wildlife, painted by hand on various media/ Mary has developed a portfolio of images that are authentic, lifelike representations of western wildlife. Hand-painted on Brazilian agate, they are perfect for bolo ties and belt buckles - on ceramic tile, they are ideal for designer kitchens, and as custom installations in lodges, log homes, cabins, gun cabinets, etc. Mary hand paints each image in acrylic on ceramic tile of any size or color to suit the installation. They are then sealed with PolyTex – a clear epoxy resin finish that is impervious to water, alcoholic beverages, etc. (according to the manufacturer), and requires minimum care. A Wildlife Images tile collection has been installed in a custom kitchen in Shell, Wyoming for over ten years and does not show any indications of deterioration. Each image is a hand-painted original “work-of-art”… No mass production “copies” here! Mary is currently concentrating the majority of her artistic efforts on painting images on ceramic tile. However, images on agate and stationery, and limited quantities of bolo ties and belt buckles are also available. Commissions accepted – You may want an image of your horse or favorite pet hand-painted by Mary on ceramic tile or other media.
