Real Western Adventure, include a visit to Shell

on US Highway 14, near Shell, Wyoming, on the

Canyon and the magnificent Big Horn Mountains, a one-hour drive from Cody,
Wyoming, and two hours from the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

the varied terrain afforded by the proximity of Shell to the western slope of

the last vestiges of true cowboy country, where cowboys, horses, and ranch
living remain a way of life. Visitors can always find a
place to relax
and dine on Real Western food in our area, A visit here may bring you in touch with a Wyoming cowboy
or a group of geoscientists and researchers from major universities who are
taking a break from excavating Jurassic dinosaur bones. Besides its natural beauty, the area is full of other
pleasant surprises. Great Geology Dinosaur Digsites Cattle Drives Today’s visitors to Shell Valley
